动物农场又称动物庄园， 此书曾被世界公认的20世纪最杰出的政治寓言，并被译成20多种文字在全世界流传。作者是来自英国的著名作家乔治。奥威尔，1903年出生在印度，后被母亲带回英国。这本动物庄园和另一本1984并称为乔治。奥威尔最重要的反乌托邦代表作。故事主要讲的是一个叫琼斯的酒鬼有一个农场，里面的动物们不堪忍受人类的压迫，在老猪老麦喆的思想鼓动下，推翻了人类的统治，建立了自己的动物王国，而猪就成为了这个动物王国中心新的领袖人物，就是围绕这样的环境下展开的故事。
